Free Consultation Phone Call
If you’re interested in exploring if therapy with me is right for you, I offer a free 15-minute consultation phone call to all new clients.
Since I’m usually with clients, leave me a message and I’ll return your call as soon as I’m able. In your message, please include the following information:
Why are you seeking therapy (a brief description)?
Will you be using insurance? Who is your insurance company?
How did you get my name?
What are some general days/times you would be available for me to call you back?
What to expect during our consultation call:
When I return your call, I’ll introduce myself and may ask follow-up questions based on the information in your message. You can also ask any questions you may have for me. If you decide you are interested in scheduling a session with me, I will walk you through how to get started with the new client paperwork in the client portal.
Verifying Insurance Benefits
Before we begin therapy, you may find it helpful to verify your insurance benefits so you know what to expect to pay. You can find more information about how to do that by clicking here.
Therapy Sessions
I view the initial sessions of therapy as a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll review some of your history and get a clearer picture of your therapy goals. It’s also a time for you to get a feel for what it’s like to work with me. If we both decide I am a good fit for your therapy needs, we’ll schedule additional sessions. If for some reason you or I decide I am not a good fit for you, I’ll provide referrals for other providers. My priority is that you get the support you need, even if that’s not with me.
Initial and follow-up sessions are 50 minutes and typically scheduled once per week.
